Apple, Inc., has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit (Johnson v. Apple, Inc., Case No. 1-09-CV-146501, California Superior Court, Santa Clara) that could amount to over $ 50 million dollars in payouts.
According to the St. Louis-based law firm of Onder, Shelton, OLeary & Peterson,LLC the lawsuit claimed that Apple advertised and sold gift cards which stated that if one purchased and used the gift card, all songs purchased at Apples online iTunes
